KATINKA VON DER LIPPE
Master of Arts, Industrial Design
Katinka von der Lippe, started her design career in 1997 in vehicle design of the Norwegian electric car TH!NK, as Head of Design of the TH!NK City developments, the concept 5-seater TH!NK Ox and cabriolets. After 14 years in TH!NK, she moved on as Lead Design at Eker Design, Fredrikstad for 8 years, leading design projects ranging from boat design, design of toothbrushes, to designing solutions for removing sealice for Norwegian salma aquaculture industry, as well as operational design for the ICON bench for Vestre AS, to mention some.
Today, Katinka is a multi-diciplinary designer, combining practical, functional and technical skills with an innovative approach, competence in design management and a sense of art and aestethics. From her own studio and workshop STUDIO RIS, she is creating functional and aesthetic designs for national and international clients.
Katinka is engaged internationally as Board member of Design without borders, jury member at Index Design to improve life and Jury Member at Xuanyuan Award, Beijing China.
Amongst awards and positions of trust worth mentioning are Red Dot Design Award, British Design Award and the NF Honors Award. Norwegian Design Councils Annual Design Award for numerous designs.

THOR HENRIK BRUUN

Thor Henrik is always interested in trying out new technology, new techniques and staying ahead, applying new technology in the design process. AR, VR and real time animations are a natural part of Studio Ris offering to clients projects.
His interest in cars, boats and technology has always been with him. More profound than just the design, he is also fascinated by function, ergonomics and innovation.
In his 12 years as an industrial designer, he has worked for Eker Design, Permafrost Design and Studio Ris, which has given him the opportunity to work with many varied projects and partners, such as LIFT Ocean foiling boats, Jøtul, LEGO, Cisco, Stokke, Wilfa, Moen Marin vessels for the fish farming industry, and not least several of the Norwegian competition chefs in the Bocuse d´Or and the National Chef Association.
